Folkers reached out within a week after we noticed an issue with our front door and sent Mr. Ursiny, who did a great job repairing it and bringing the door back to its original state.

Charlie null and Tyler wood were an excellent team and installed my 7 windows to my complete satisfaction! As a team Charlie was an inspiring leader overseeing the work in detail so there were no errors. There were friendly, personable, professional and thorough. Charlie provides me and my wife thorough description and instructions on the windows. Clear and concise. If there are opportunities for Charlie to be promoted or advanced to more responsible positions he is capable and ready! As we used to say in the military, Promote Him!

Here's the kicker...both are relatively new employees but with our in house training and subsequent in field training under a superintendent (both unique to Folkers compared to the competition) we can get new employees up to speed quickly. disappointed with glass to framing material ratio-don't remember if I saw a picture of the window to be ordered. work crew were efficient and did a good job installing the window i accepted the price quoted because of my sister's company recommendation, but from my past experience as a handyman, believe I paid a premium price.

Thanks for the review. Yes impact windows have a thicker frame therefore a little less glass. This is due to the impact window design and the support required to withstand hurricane force winds and pressures. There are less expensive options in the market place as well both from a labor and material standpoint. We do not sell junk and we do not use sub contractors thus the price is a bit more expensive. Of course, one can always save money but with remodeling, much like most other products and services in the marketplace, you do get what you pay for. Shwinco impact replacement windows are a great choice and will provide decades of service and protection.

Folkers Window Company changed our front door and did an outstanding job helping with design choices. Installers were extremely professional, clean, and efficient.

Thanks for the review. A new front door can make a world of difference in the aesthetics of your home. We have literally thousands of design choices to choose from so we have a door for every preference. While we highly recommend fiberglass doors (they won't rust or rot in our extreme climate) we also offer wood, steel and even iron doors.
